The results of the Qixian garlic trial have been released: Calcium-magnesium fertilizers can improve soil quality and provide crops with sufficient nutrients, helping to enhance yield and efficiency!

The application of calcium-magnesium fertilizer effectively delayed the premature senescence of garlic leaves, promoted the translocation of nutrients from the aboveground parts to the bulb, and thus facilitated bulb enlargement and weight gain. From this perspective, applying nitrocalcium-magnesium fertilizer not only improves soil quality but also provides crops with sufficient nutrients, thereby enhancing their growth and efficiency.

Exclusive patented technology unveiled by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Hanhe Bio: The preparation process of alginate oligosaccharides.

Hanhe Biology is collaborating with the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, on a research and development project aimed at developing alginate lyase and preparing oligosaccharides from brown algae. Through this research, a novel bifunctional alginate lyase with alkali tolerance has been identified and characterized. This enzyme exhibits high activity toward both poly-mannuronic acid (polyM) and poly-guluronic acid (polyG) in alginate, enabling complete degradation of alginate into main products—alginate disaccharides, trisaccharides, and tetrasaccharides. Furthermore, by modifying the protein’s structural domains, the enzyme’s enzymatic activity and thermal stability have been significantly enhanced, endowing it with strong potential for industrial applications.

On November 6, 2020, the Nitro-Calcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Branch of the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the Calcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Branch) traveled to Zhengzhou, Henan Province, to exchange findings from the 2020 nitro-calcium-magnesium fertilizer trials with the Science and Technology Small Courtyard of Henan Agricultural University. Both sides engaged in discussions on plans for promoting and applying nitro-calcium-magnesium fertilizer products in Henan Province, as well as on the next steps for trial and demonstration programs.
