On November 27, 2020, the Nitro-Calcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Branch of the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association made its debut in Qingdao, Shandong Province, at the "2020 China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association Exhibition & the 21st National High-Concentration Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Production and Sales Fair," jointly organized by the China Phosphate and Compound Fertilizer Industry Association and the Agricultural Production Materials Circulation Association. This phosphate and compound fertilizer conference was themed “Cultivating New Opportunities Amidst Crises and Opening New Frontiers Amidst Changing Circumstances,” and aimed to rally the entire industry to overcome these challenging times together, face difficulties head-on, and jointly create a brighter future.

After the exchange meeting, staff members of the Nitrocalcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Branch of the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Association (hereinafter referred to as the Calcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Branch) together with the head of the Henan Science and Technology Small Courtyard, went to the Yuzhou Science and Technology Small Courtyard for on-site inspection, exchange, and learning.

Currently, China's agriculture has entered a period of high-quality development, making it imperative to optimize the structure of fertilizer products. Promoting the application of calcium fertilizers is essential to enhancing agricultural quality and efficiency. In Jiaocheng County, Shanxi Province—known as “China’s Calcium Capital”—new-generation fertilizer enterprises such as Shanxi Huaxin Fertilizer, Hongxing Chemical, Sanxi Chemical, and Jinlan Chemical, leveraging the county’s abundant coal and calcium carbonate resources, have achieved rapid industrial expansion through technological upgrades and innovation. By extending their industrial chains, optimizing product structures, promoting energy conservation and consumption reduction, and enhancing R&D capabilities and equipment levels, these companies have not only expanded their production scale but also established a strong reputation for their nitrocalcium fertilizer products in both domestic and international markets, thereby becoming the leading hub for the development of China’s nitrocalcium-magnesium fertilizer industry.

On November 6, 2020, the Nitro-Calcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Branch of the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the Calcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Branch) traveled to Zhengzhou, Henan Province, to exchange findings from the 2020 nitro-calcium-magnesium fertilizer trials with the Science and Technology Small Courtyard of Henan Agricultural University. Both sides engaged in discussions on plans for promoting and applying nitro-calcium-magnesium fertilizer products in Henan Province, as well as on the next steps for trial and demonstration programs.

On the evening of September 26, 2020, the working conference of the Nitro-Calcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Branch of the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association was held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Li Tengfei, Chairman of the Nitro-Calcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Branch of the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association and General Manager of Shanxi Huaxin Fertilizer Co., Ltd., first delivered a report at the meeting on the branch’s work during the previous year.
