Previous speech
This year’s Government Work Report emphasized that China’s development this year faces unprecedented difficulties and challenges. It is crucial to solidly implement the “Six Stabilities” measures and fully carry out the “Six Guarantees” tasks, using stability as a foundation for progress and seeking continuous improvement within a stable framework. The convention and exhibition industry serves as a barometer and leading indicator of economic development, characterized by its broad impact, high degree of interconnection, and enormous growth potential. Particularly under the influence of the pandemic, the convention and exhibition sector has played a vital role in boosting economic recovery, expanding market consumption, promoting trade cooperation, increasing social employment, and restoring industry confidence. It has become a key driver and focal point for the national economy to overcome the pandemic’s impact. To implement the Party Central Committee and the State Council’s requirements for the “Six Stabilities” and “Six Guarantees,” meet the publicity, promotion, and transaction needs of the agricultural input industry—especially fertilizer companies and distributors—and help host regions stabilize employment, safeguard people’s livelihoods, stimulate consumption, and drive market growth and steady economic expansion, the organizing committee has decided, after careful deliberation, to hold the 22nd National Fertilizer Information Exchange and Product Trading Fair in Yangling, Shaanxi Province.
Shaanxi Province, abbreviated as “Shan” or “Qin,” is located in the heartland of inland China. To the east, it borders Shanxi and Henan; to the west, it connects with Ningxia and Gansu; to the south, it reaches Sichuan, Chongqing, and Hubei; and to the north, it adjoins Inner Mongolia. Shaanxi occupies a crucial position, serving as a vital link between China’s eastern and central regions and its northwest and southwest areas.
Shaanxi Province is one of the key provinces in China’s “High-Quality Grain Project.” In recent years, Shaanxi has taken implementing policies that strengthen agriculture and benefit farmers as its starting point, focused on continuously increasing farmers’ incomes, and placed great emphasis on ensuring the effective supply and quality safety of agricultural products. Proactively shifting its agricultural development model and vigorously promoting the mechanization of agriculture, Shaanxi has continuously enhanced its agricultural production capacity and further strengthened its ability to supply agricultural products. Guided by a brand-new development philosophy, Shaanxi has intensified policy support, accelerated the efficient transfer of cultivated land, developed modern agriculture, built distinctive brands, improved agricultural production efficiency, and promoted a fundamental transformation in the mode of agricultural development, thereby achieving leapfrog growth under a completely new model.
The Yangling Agricultural Hi-Tech Industry Demonstration Zone in Shaanxi is China’s first national-level agricultural hi-tech industry demonstration zone. Yangling Area of the China (Shaanxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone It is China’s only agricultural-themed free trade zone. After more than 20 years of development, Yangling—particularly— The “Agricultural High-Tech Fair,” which receives key support from the Chinese government, has been held for 26 consecutive years and has enabled Yangling to become a leading hub for agricultural science and technology innovation in China, as well as a benchmark for the demonstration and promotion of agricultural technologies. Belt and Road Modern Agricultural International Cooperation Center. After more than 20 years of development, the Yangling Demonstration Zone’s convention and exhibition industry boasts several well-known events, including the Yangling Agricultural High-Tech Fair, the Yangling Dual-Trade Fair, and the Animal Husbandry Expo. The hardware facilities of convention and exhibition venues have been continuously improved, particularly with the enhancement of the agricultural technology promotion system. With the scientific and technological support from research institutions such as Northwest A&F University, Yangling has become... It is the holy land of China's agricultural exhibitions.
For four consecutive years, the National Fertilizer Fair has been recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs as a 4A-level agricultural exhibition and one of the nation’s top ten agriculture-themed brand exhibitions. The fair has brought together exhibitors and enterprises from more than 30 provinces and cities across China, featuring nearly 10,000 brands. With a cumulative audience exceeding 300,000 visitors, it has become a highly influential agricultural exhibition and trade event in the agro-input industry.
The Organizing Committee of the 22nd National Fertilizer Fair will take advantage of Yangling—a premier venue for agricultural exhibitions—to continue innovating our approach to organizing the event, strive to enhance our management and service standards, constantly enrich the exhibition content, and comprehensively expand our influence. We are committed to creating a fertilizer industry event that is “distinctive, high-level, and high-quality”—a “One Distinctive, Two High-Level” gathering. We sincerely invite domestic and international enterprises involved in fertilizer production, distribution, sales, as well as research and educational institutions to participate in the fair. We also welcome leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, distributors, large-scale growers, representatives from specialized cooperatives, and media friends to visit and exchange ideas with us.
