China's fertilizer industry

To all relevant fertilizer and supporting enterprises:

Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, our fertilizer application has been declining steadily, while fertilizer utilization efficiency has been steadily improving. There is also a growing call to adjust the structure of fertilizer use and vigorously promote new, high-efficiency, and environmentally friendly fertilizers. This will inevitably compel enterprises to undergo reform and shift toward more efficient fertilization practices, presenting a significant opportunity for the development of the new fertilizer industry. To accelerate the healthy development of modern agriculture and the fertilizer industry in China, deeply understand new trends in technological innovation and development, fully leverage resource advantages, strengthen collaborative innovation among industry, academia, and research institutions, consolidate the industrial foundation, foster exchanges, cooperation, and growth among enterprises, build enterprise brands, expand markets, further enhance the industry’s overall efficiency and comprehensive market competitiveness, and comprehensively drive the high-quality development of China’s new fertilizer industry—thereby supporting and leading the structural reform of agricultural supply, propelling the industry toward the mid-to-high end, opening up new growth spaces, and playing a core, leading role in improving development quality and efficiency—we are jointly organizing, by the National New Fertilizer Industry R&D Collaboration Alliance and the National Fertilizer Machinery and Equipment Industry Collaboration Alliance, the 7th National Forum on Production Processes and Innovative Technologies for the New Fertilizer Industry, to be held from April 8 to 10, 2021, in Nanning, Guangxi.
