Introduction to the 2020 National Plant Protection Conference:

The Plant Protection Information Exchange and Agrochemical & Machinery Fair (commonly referred to as the “Plant Protection Double Fair” or the “National Plant Protection Fair”) has been successfully held for 35 sessions to date. It is a large-scale, highly popular, and profoundly influential agricultural 5A-level exhibition within the industry, enjoying an outstanding reputation in both the agrochemical sector and the plant protection system—and is widely regarded as an international brand exhibition for agrochemicals.

The China Plant Protection Dual Fair is designed to meet the new requirements of advancing supply-side structural reform in agriculture and achieving zero growth in pesticide usage. It aims to provide a platform for pesticide and equipment manufacturers, distributors, plant protection authorities, as well as new types of agricultural operators and innovative social organizations engaged in plant protection—enabling them to promote their products, showcase advanced technologies, introduce their brands, and explore new markets through mutual exchange and transactions. This will better support the effective control of major pests and diseases, reduce pesticide use while enhancing efficacy, ensure food security, safeguard the quality and safety of agricultural products and the ecological environment, and thus drive the development of modern plant protection and modern agriculture.

2020 National Plant Protection Exhibition Area Division:

The exhibition is divided into the following sections: Pesticide Pavilion, Integrated Pharmaceutical and Fertilizer Pavilion, New-Generation Pharmaceutical Equipment, Green Pest Control Exhibition Area, International Enterprises Exhibition Area, and Packaging Equipment Pavilion, among others.

2020 National Plant Protection Exhibition Booth Types and Descriptions:

I. Standard Booth

1. Definition

The standard booth is a booth constructed according to uniform standards by the on-site contractor commissioned by the organizing committee of the 35th China Plant Protection Dual Fair for exhibitors.

2. Equipped with

3m x 3m exhibition space, one corporate Chinese name banner (two banners for a double-opening booth), two lighting fixtures, one consultation table, and two chairs.

3. Decoration precautions:

Exhibitors are advised to hang three promotional graphic panels on each wall panel, with each panel measuring 900 millimeters wide and 1,200 millimeters high. The promotional graphic panels should be hung from the upper part of the display stand using hanging cords and hooks.

II. Miniature Special Exhibition

1. Definition

A special exhibition format specially designed to meet the needs of those seeking a solution between standard booths and custom-built booths.

2. Specifications and Instructions

1) Each mini-exhibition has an area of 18 square meters, 27 square meters, 36 square meters, or 54 square meters, with a height of 4 meters.

2) The organizing committee will handle the unified production and installation. Enterprises will provide the visual design drafts. The price includes booth fees, production and installation costs, special exhibit management fees, electricity charges, registration fees, and conference membership fees.

3. Special Booths on Open Space

1. Definition

A "bare space" booth, also known as a custom-built booth, is one in which the organizing committee of the 35th China Plant Protection Double Fair provides only the booth area itself, without any included equipment or furnishings. Exhibitors must either set up their own designed booths on these bare spaces—either by themselves or by commissioning a designated custom-fit construction company (also referred to as an exhibition contractor or builder).

2. Before commencing construction, exhibitors occupying open-space booths must complete the following procedures with the organizing committee.

1) Special Exhibition Report and Construction Process

Select the booth construction company and finalize the renderings → Submit exhibition materials to the organizing committee (including exhibition renderings, floor plans, and construction drawings) for review → The organizing committee issues the registration notice → Register (sign the “Exhibition Safety (Fire Safety) Responsibility Letter” with the organizing committee, pay the special exhibition management fee and the audio equipment deposit, and then receive the relevant exhibition credentials) → After completing the cleaning deposit and paying electricity charges at the exhibition hall, begin construction.

2020 National Plant Protection Conference & Forum:

Main activity

The conference uses exhibitions as a platform to organize activities such as information exchange, high-level forums, seminars and training sessions, demonstrations of new pesticides, and demonstrations of plant protection machinery.

Exhibition Requirements for the 2020 National Plant Protection Conference:

To align with the nation’s efforts to promote structural reform of the agricultural supply side, reform of the market regulatory system, and quality-driven, green agricultural development, and to enhance the quality and sophistication of exhibitors’ products at the conference, we plan to adopt the following review-and-access measures, striving to prevent counterfeit and substandard agricultural inputs from entering the exhibition hall.

1. Exhibitors must cooperate with the organizing committee’s requirements for qualification review. They are required to provide the enterprise’s three certificates and sign a commitment letter with the organizing committee, pledging to “comply with the Regulations on Intellectual Property Protection, strictly prohibit the publication of false advertisements, and rigorously prevent counterfeit products from entering the exhibition hall.” All advertising and promotional materials must be truthful and reliable, comply with the regulations governing the advertisement of agricultural inputs such as pesticides, and adhere to all applicable national laws, decrees, and regulations.

2. The names of the exhibitors’ on-site booths, company names, and product names must be consistent with those provided in the signed exhibition contract; any illegal activities such as using counterfeit or fake branding are strictly prohibited.

3. Publicity and displays, both inside and outside the venue, must promote positive energy. Activities that employ uncivilized or unhealthy promotional methods, such as wearing uniforms that suggest military attire or using body painting, are prohibited.

4. Enhance awareness of intellectual property protection at trade shows and jointly safeguard companies’ trademark rights, copyright, and patent rights.

5. The organizing committee will establish integrity files for exhibiting companies. Companies found to be operating without proper licenses, manufacturing and selling counterfeit products, failing inspection standards, or causing major accidents resulting from negligence will be placed on a blacklist and disqualified from participating in the next exhibition.
