On August 20, 2020, Yan Jiandong, General Manager of Shanxi Jinlan Chemical, visited Hanhe Bio for an exchange and discussion.

According to Yu Yifa, Deputy General Manager of Hanhe Bio, the fully automated smart liquid fertilizer plant has an investment of nearly 18 million RMB and an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons. Using microorganisms as the starting point, the plant develops microbial ecological preparations and employs synthetic biology techniques to produce bio-stimulants—such as gamma-aminobutyric acid, brown algae oligosaccharides, and small-peptide amino acids—which are then added to liquid fertilizers. This approach meets all current market demands for liquid fertilizers. The plant maintains strict quality control throughout the production process, regularly analyzes product quality, and ensures that its liquid fertilizer products are high-quality, highly efficient, and exceptionally stable.

At the “Bioengineering Center” of Hanhe Bio, Mr. Yu Yifa, Deputy General Manager of Hanhe Bio, introduced to everyone the company’s current production status of microbial inoculants, as well as various fundamental aspects such as the fermentation process flow.

On June 9, 2020, the Phase III project of the Bioengineering Center was fully completed and officially put into operation. The four 20-ton fermentation tank systems, together with the Phase I and Phase II projects already in production, bring the total fermentation volume to over 150 cubic meters. The entire project ranks among the top in terms of digitalization, intelligence, and fermentation scale.

After the tour, Mr. Yan and Mr. Yu and their delegation moved into the conference room to enthusiastically discuss technologies for enhancing fertilizer efficiency as well as the company’s future development direction, and expressed their willingness to foster collaboration.
