Calcium-Magnesium Fertilizer Manufacturer: A Detailed Introduction to Magnesium Nitrate for Agricultural Use
Magnesium nitrate for agricultural use Widely used in drip irrigation and soilless cultivation, many farmers still don't fully understand the functions and application methods of agricultural magnesium sulfate. Below, a calcium-magnesium fertilizer manufacturer shares a detailed introduction to its use in agriculture—this information is provided for your reference only!
Effect on crops:
It is highly soluble in water, liquid ammonia, methanol, and ethanol. It can provide crops with water-soluble nitrate nitrogen and water-soluble magnesium, enabling rapid magnesium supplementation to crops, increasing chlorophyll content within plants, and promoting photosynthesis. Moreover, it is completely water-soluble and can be quickly absorbed by plants.
At the same time, magnesium nitrate for agricultural use contains neither sulfur nor chlorine, making it suitable for a wide variety of crops—especially ideal for use on young crop seedlings. It is primarily and widely used as a fertilizer in soilless cultivation of crops.
Materialized property:
Magnesium nitrate hexahydrate is a colorless crystal belonging to the monoclinic crystal system. It is hygroscopic and forms a stable hydrate at room temperature. Its relative density is 1.6363, and its melting point is 89°C. When heated above 90°C, it transforms into a basic salt; at temperatures exceeding 400°C, it completely decomposes into MgO. It is readily soluble in water and also soluble in methanol and ethanol. It exhibits oxidizing properties and can ignite or explode upon contact with, friction against, or impact with organic substances.
Usage:
Magnesium nitrate for agricultural use This is a binary compound fertilizer containing nitrogen and quick-release magnesium. Its high nutrient content and 100% water solubility highlight the unique advantages of a premium magnesium fertilizer and a highly efficient nitrogen fertilizer. It offers excellent value for money—affordable yet high-quality—and perfectly meets the needs of the vast majority of farmers. Long-term use will not cause soil compaction and is suitable for soils of all types. Toxicity test reports for this product indicate that it is a low-toxicity fertilizer, making it safe to use. Specific application methods are as follows:
Packaging:
Packed in 25 kg inner plastic-lined woven bags, or according to customer requirements.
This article provides a detailed introduction to magnesium nitrate for agricultural use. Additionally, we would like to remind you that it should not be mixed with other phosphates at high concentrations, as this could lead to precipitation, reducing fertilizer effectiveness and clogging drip emitters.
