Step into Chuanjinxiang—the nation’s largest melamine production base, with the country’s top capacity and output of nitro-based compound fertilizers.
Sichuan Jinxiang Sairui Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Jinxiang”) was established in May 2003 and is located in the Jinxiang Chemical Industry Park, Dongpo District, Meishan City, Sichuan Province. Since 2011, the Jinxiang Group has continued to grow steadily, currently comprising five subsidiaries and four controlled companies. Through independent research and development and innovation, the company now fully masters the core technologies across all links of the entire circular economy industrial chain, including synthetic ammonia, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, nitro-based compound fertilizers, urea, and melamine. Among these, its melamine production technology ranks among the world’s leading, while its technologies for synthetic ammonia, nitric acid, ammonium nitrate, nitro-based compound fertilizers, and urea all hold a leading position domestically. The company has received 10 provincial and China Nitrogen Fertilizer Association awards for scientific and technological progress, including two Special Awards and five First-Class Awards. It holds 41 national patents, of which 14 are invention patents, and another 12 invention patent applications are currently pending. This has established a sustainable development model characterized by continuous technological innovation and reserves. In July 2013, the company was listed among the Top 100 Large Enterprises and Groups in Sichuan Province (ranked 90th).

In early June, the Nitrogen Fertilizer Branch of the China Nitrogen Association conducted an on-site visit to the compound fertilizer production area of Chuanjinxiang. The compound fertilizer production area’s dual towers utilize a newly developed, 108-meter-high anti-explosion granulation technology for nitro-based compound fertilizers—technology that has been independently researched and developed. This technology has won the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Sichuan Province and has been designated as a project under the National Torch Program. The technology is used to produce a wide variety of multi-formulation products, including nitro-based compound fertilizers, urea-based compound fertilizers, and water-soluble fertilizers rich in macronutrients. Among these products, the nitro-based compound fertilizer boasts the nation’s highest production capacity and output.
According to Tian Bin, Deputy General Manager of Chuanjinxiang Group, the company has established chemical production bases in Meishan, Sichuan; Shaya, Xinjiang; Fukang, Xinjiang; and Hengshui, Hebei. Its annual production capacity for nitro-based compound fertilizers has reached 2.1 million tons. The pandemic has had virtually no impact on the entire production and sales process of nitro-based compound fertilizers; since the Spring Festival, operations have remained normal. In previous years during the same period, sales typically hovered around 14,000 tons. This year, however, inventory levels during the pandemic have been approximately 7,000 tons. The period most severely affected was from late April to early May, when many regions in northern China experienced heavy snowfall and frost, while parts of southern China saw localized heavy rain and hail. Additionally, some areas suffered from prolonged drought with no rainfall at all. In previous years, sales of high-potassium fruit-boosting fertilizers were particularly strong in May; this year, due to these extreme weather conditions, sales have declined by at least 40% compared to previous years. Take Meishan as an example: Meishan is a nationally renowned base for late-maturing citrus fruits. In early April, temperatures remained low, causing the flowering period to be jeopardized. Later, insufficient rainfall meant that fruit set rates, which usually range from 70% to 80%, have plummeted to only 20% to 30% this year. The company’s over 30 major regions have already achieved 60% of their annual targets. Mr. Tian also stated that, in the face of a challenging situation, they will strengthen their sense of responsibility and go all out to achieve the annual goals and tasks.

Chuan Jin Xiang and BASF’s collaboration has led to the development of Vystar, a high-nitrogen fertilizer with DMPP that offers stable and long-lasting performance. Vystar enhances nitrogen fertilizer utilization, boosts crop yields, improves crop quality, and reduces fertilizer-induced pollution of groundwater and the atmosphere. Significant achievements in this area At the same time, it can also enhance economic benefits by increasing yields, reducing the number of fertilization operations, and lowering fertilizer application rates. The launch of Weishite perfectly aligns with the national goal of weight loss and enhanced effectiveness. The requirements.
Today, there are many homogenized fertilizer products on the market, so farmers don’t lack fertilizers—they lack technology and services. The emergence of Jinxiang Cloud truly addresses farmers’ pain points and brings tangible benefits to agricultural households. Sichuan Jinxiang has launched “Jinxiang Cloud,” an AI-powered intelligent platform that integrates comprehensive agricultural services—including agricultural inputs, farming services, agricultural technology services, and branded agriculture—into a single, unified ecosystem. The “Jinxiang Cloud Health Cloud Testing Service Center” is making agricultural services truly effective and driving deep transformation across the entire agricultural value chain. As of now, Sichuan Jinxiang has established 11 Health Cloud Testing Service Centers in Meishan, Yunnan, Anyue, and other regions, enabling farmers to carry out scientifically accurate soil testing and customized fertilization, as well as data-driven crop management. By converting experience into data, these services are being put into practice, ensuring that farmers are the biggest beneficiaries.
In the future, the company will focus closely on its two core businesses—nitrogen-based compound fertilizers and melamine—and pursue the strategic development goals of becoming “the world’s largest developer and manufacturer of melamine and downstream products” and “China’s leading manufacturer of nitrogen-based compound fertilizers.” To achieve these goals, the company will take measures such as optimizing the allocation of raw material resources, enriching its product portfolio, enhancing its R&D and innovation capabilities, expanding its marketing network, and strengthening brand building. These efforts will further boost the company’s core competitiveness.
