According to data released by the General Administration of Customs on January 13, China’s total value of goods trade imports and exports in 2024 reached 43.85 trillion yuan, representing a 5% increase year-on-year.

Among them, exports totaled 25.45 trillion yuan, up 7.1% year-on-year; imports reached 18.39 trillion yuan, up 2.3% year-on-year. The country’s foreign trade concluded the year on a successful note.
